Yogamat provides Ashtanga Yoga Classes in Bondi Junction, Sydney within a nurturing environment.

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, sequential and scientific form of yoga that synchronises movement and breath.

The breath (ujjayi), energy locks (bandhas) and gaze points (drishtis) are collectively called tristana.

It is the combination of these elements that creates a moving meditation that brings stillness to the mind.

As a result of this style of yoga practice the body becomes “strong and light like the body of a lion” (Shri K Pattabhi Jois - Living Master of Ashtanga Yoga)
